Xiaomi HyperOS has more than 600 million active users worldwide. In order to create a comfortable reading experience that could be shared across languages, Xiaomi joined forces with Monotype Fonts and Hanyi Fonts to launch the MiSans Global font customization project. This is an enormous font family that covers over 20 writing systems and supports more than 600 languages and 100,000 characters. As the default font for the Xiaomi HyperOS system, it had to be clear, human-centric and have a unified visual style. Our goal was to deliver an interconnected multilingual experience for all Xiaomi HyperOS users.
