Variable fonts are an extension that OpenType introduced in version 1.8. Simply put, it is a font file that can support multiple font forms simultaneously. Multiple font files can be combined in a single file and single or multi-axis design space can be realized by defining variations within the font.
The MiSans L3 uncommon character font (GB 18030–2022 Level 3) only supports regular font weight. All other fonts are variable.
Models upgraded to Xiaomi HyperOS can support MiSans Global. The international (/global) version of Xiaomi HyperOS has already been adapted for MiSans fonts. Some multilingual (/multi-language) fonts are still at production stage, and will be updated as OTA at a later stage. Both domestic and international (/global) systems can support multiple different languages, actual circumstances and localities shall prevail.
